Concealed Handgun License Class (continued...)

DFW Gun Range & Training Center offers 2 convenient ways to complete the training requirements to receive a license to carry a concealed handgun from the Texas Department of Public Safety. We offer a one day class every weekend, and a three (3) night class during the week. Upon successful completion of the class and submission of the application materials, the state will issue you a license within 60 days, assuming there is no legal disqualification. Our CHL class package includes the following:

• 10 Hours Classroom Training by a DPS certified instructor
• Qualification on our DPS approved range (indoor, safe, clean, and temperature controlled)
• Two (2) passport photos
• Fingerprints
• Notary Services
• Application Preparation Assistance
• Rental gun, safety glasses, and hearing protection for use during range qualification

It is suggested that you have your application materials before enrolling in the class, but we don't require it. To receive your packet from the state, simply complete and mail this form. (Adobe Acrobat reader required. Get it here.) We have the application packet request forms at the range as well. You must have your own set of application materials, as they are serialized and duplicates are not allowed.
