This a one on one private course designed to take a shooter that has a basic skill set in the fundamentals of marksmanship to the next level of handling the AK-47 in tactical/self-defense situations.
After the successful completion of this course the shooter be able to:
In addition the shooter will gain a basic understanding of shooting on the move and the use of cover.
We will cover classroom lecture, cleaning and maintenance, dry weapon handling and solving support equipment/gear issues.
Then we will practice live fire on the range using variety of paper targets. At the completion of the course a qualification course will be administered, where you will successfully demonstrate the skill set that you obtained from this course.
Kalashnikov rifle with a sling and iron sights (no optics), 700 rounds of rifle ammunition (minimum), Handgun with holster, 200 rounds of handgun ammunition, a minimum of three magazines for both rifle and pistol and pouches to carry them on your body, eye and ear protection, note taking materials.
You must be familiar and comfortable with your handgun. If you have never shot before or wonder how your gun works this class is not for you. If you feel you do not pass this prerequisite, join the Basic Defensive Handgun before progressing to this class.
